The Story
There are 455 children living at the Village, the majority of whom would otherwise not have had the opportunity to receive an educa- tion and hear about God’s love. On site there are school buildings, dormitories for the children, staff and visitors, a cafeteria, a kitchen, a solar powered water well, a playground and bathrooms with shower facilities, vocational school, deaf school, and an agricultur- al project. The children come from many villages surrounding the Village of Hope and they returning home during holidays. The school day begins early with Chapel every morning at 5:00 am, and every child has morning chores. The kids excel in school and place at the top of national exams and are already transforming the com- munities from which they came, when they return home on break.

The Project: Education and Housing
Since the children live onsite, there are some increased costs associated with their education, including room and board, workers on site to care for the students, and other day to day expenses
Annual Cost Per Child $600
